Graham Oldroyd is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance. He is an experienced international private equity investor and multiple board Chairman / Non-Executive Director. Until June 2013 he was a Partner at private equity fund manager Bridgepoint, completing 23 years at the firm and holding a series of senior positions, including Head of the Nordic Region, Head of Manufacturing & Industrials, and Geschäftsführer for Bridgepoint GmbH. Graham has extensive cross-border M&A experience from Europe, the USA and China, and has served on Boards in the UK, all Nordic Countries, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, covering a wide variety of sectors spanning the automotive industry, consumer products, engineering consulting, healthcare, IT, manufacturing and industrials, and support services. Appointed a Church of England Commissioner with effect from 1 April 2014, in this role he is also a member of the Assets Committee responsible for investment of the c. £5 billion Church Commissioners’ Fund. MCF advised Landeshauptstadt Kiel during the sale of 51% of Stadtwerke Kiel AG, which provides electricity, gas, water and heating to the residents of the German city Kiel and its surrounding counties. Landeshauptstadt Kiel had previously privatised Stadtwerke Kiel AG and sold the 51% stake to TXU Europe Group plc which subsequently went into insolvency and its stake was sold by the insolvency administrator to MVV Energie AG.
MCF advised Rautaruukki Oyj on the acquisition of Syneco Industri AB, a Swedish manufacturer of frames and other large steel components for the lifting, handling and transport industries, from AB Pehrson & Lindgren.
MCF advised Pfalzwerke Projektbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, a 100% subsidiary of PFALZWERKE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, in the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Projekt Projektierungsgesellschaft für regenerative Energiesysteme mbH (“Projekt GmbH”) from Oldenburg. Projekt GmbH has a 20 year track record in successfully planning, implementing and financing onshore wind projects, as well as taking responsibility for operation and maintenance. Yvonne Melchers completed her apprenticeship and traineeship in Corporate Finance at WestLB in Münster, Düsseldorf and London. She then studied business administration at the universities St. Gallen, Toronto and New York. Subsequently, Yvonne spent over 5 years in Deutsche Bank’s Corporate and Investment Bank in London, advising European utilities in M&A and capital markets transactions. She is a visiting lecturer at ESCP Europe in Berlin. Yvonne joined MCF in 2012.

Alexander Gosch holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from Maastricht University including an exchange program at Nanyang Technological University. Hans-Christoph Stadel graduated with a MBA from the European School of Management Studies in Paris, Oxford and Berlin, having previously completed a two year apprenticeship at the Vereins- und Westbank, Hamburg. He then joined Enskilda Securities in London, where he was responsible for Finnish and German M&A transactions. In 1990, he moved to Hamburg to open Enskilda’s German office before conducting an MBO in 1994, together with Hans Hermann Münchmeyer, to found Münchmeyer GmbH Corporate Finance. Hans-Christoph is a founding Partner and Managing Director of MCF. In addition, Hans-Christoph is the Honorary Consul for Finland in Hamburg.
