MCF advised the shareholders of HASEC in the sale of the company to Scanfil. The transaction offers great operating synergies going-forward and provides an environment, in which HASEC\u2019s extensive track-record of profitable growth can be continued and accelerated. HASEC\u2019s well established client relationships, as well as its sterling industry reputation, will strengthen Scanfil\u2019s market presence in Germany and Western Europe even further.<\/p>\n
The acquisition is subject to approval by antitrust authorities and closing is expected in June.<\/p>\n
HASEC is a German Electronics Engineering and Manufacturing Services (E2MS) provider founded in 1991. It has two production sites in Germany and Poland and employs around 240 people. In 2018, HASEC generated sales of around EUR 40m.<\/p>\n
The company offers services along the entire life cycle of electronic products, including development, samples, new product introduction, qualification and certification, series production, and aftersales. Its customers are well-known market players with electronic products from various sectors, such as computing, communications, industrial, automotive, and medical.<\/p>\n
