KAEFER in the UK serves a vast and growing range of industries with asset integrity services, including access solutions, insulation, inspection &amp; testing, protective coatings, asbestos management and more. With its stronghold in protective coating and corrosion management, the Wood\u2019s Industrial Services business complements the current strength of KAEFER\u2019s UK business and will add significant scale in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n<h2>The Target<\/h2>\n<p>Wood Group Industrial Services, founded in 1973 under the name Pyeroy, was acquired by John Wood Group in 2013. The company is a leading provider of industrial services for the Marine, Process &amp; Energy, Oil &amp; Gas and infrastructure sectors, with approximately 2,000 highly skilled employees at 16 locations in the UK and Ireland. Landmark projects of Wood Group Industrial Services include the restoration of Tower Bridge in London, as well as the painting, cleaning and insulation work on Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers for the Royal Navy.<\/p>\n<h2>About KAEFER<\/h2>\n<p>KAEFER is a leading family-owned German industrial services provider and was established in 1918. With over 28,000 employees and 2,000 international locations, KAEFER is a market leader for reliable and efficient technical industrial services in Industry, Marine &amp; Offshore and Construction.
