Founded in 1969 and based in Wangen, Germany, Wangen Pumpen is a market-leading manufacturer of progressive cavity and twin-screw pumps for highly viscous or abrasive substances and solid-fluid composites. The company employs approximately 250 staff and manufactures products for various end markets, including biogas, wastewater treatment, agriculture, and food & beverages. In 2021, Wangen Pumpen generated sales of c. \u20ac50m.<\/p>\n
MCF has built a strong relationship with Wangen Pumpen, advising the previous owners in 2017 when Silverfleet Capital acquired the business. Under Silverfleet Capital’s ownership, the company increased sales, expanded its international presence, predominately in the US market, and extended its product portfolio by acquiring the Germany-based business unit for progressive cavity pumps (MX line) from Knoll Maschinenbau GmbH.<\/p>\n
