MCF advised Fortaco on the sale of its steel fabrication and assembly operations in Finland, Estonia and Poland to HANZA

Fortaco, the leading strategic partner to the heavy off-highway equipment industry, offering technology, vehicle cabins, steel fabrications and assemblies to global OEMs, divested its steel fabrication and assembly operations in Finland, Estonia and Poland to HANZA, the Swedish publicly listed contract manufacturer.

The transaction allows Fortaco to sharpen its strategic focus and continue its growth in the cabins business, while further strengthening HANZA’s core technologies in heavy mechanics, as well as its service and product portfolio and financial profile. The acquisition also accelerates execution of the HANZA 2028 strategy and brings a new customer base with limited overlap versus HANZA’s existing customers.

For Fortaco, the divestment sharpens its strategic focus on the international cabin business and strengthens the company’s balance sheet, enabling continued growth both organically and through selected M&A.

MCF acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to Fortaco, supporting the negotiations and guiding the cross-border transaction process from start to finish by leveraging its deep sector expertise.
