MCF advised NeuroCentrum on its sale to St. Augustinus Group

MCF is pleased to announce that it has advised the shareholders of NeuroCentrum, a leading outpatient clinic group in the field of neurology, psychiatry and psychology, on its sale to the St. Augustinus Group, one of the largest healthcare providers in Germany.

NeuroCentrum is among the largest outpatient clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia, operating two locations and managing over 100,000 patient visits annually. With 35 employees, including 12 physicians, the clinic has established itself as a key provider of neurological and psychiatric services in the region.

St. Augustinus Group, the buyer, is a foundation-owned healthcare group specialising in somatic medicine, psychiatry, and care for the elderly and disabled. With over 3,000 beds, around 7,500 employees, and approximately €500 million in revenue, the group operates around 100 locations across Germany.

The acquisition will allow St. Augustinus to further expand and enhance its outpatient service portfolio in neurology, psychiatry, and psychology. Moreover, the parties aim to jointly develop a leading outpatient clinic platform for innovative treatment methods for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The transaction also enabled a smooth succession solution for the management of NeuroCentrum.

MCF acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to the shareholders of NeuroCentrum and supported the management in executing the deal along the entire process.
