Ville Sihto holds a MSc in Economics from University of Vaasa majoring in Finance. After graduation in 1998 he joined Aros Securities which became part of Nordea in 2000. Robert has over fifteen years of experience working in the strategy and corporate finance field. Prior to joining us in 2018, Robert was one of the founding Partners of a local, well-renowned, mid-market M&A boutique in Stockholm, and he has also previous work experience as a management consultant for Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, as well as a member of Swedish Match Group’s Finance team. He is also a guest lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics and Stockholm University.

Niko Lakaniemi will soon graduate from Aalto University majoring in Finance. Prior joining us in 2018, Niko worked as an analyst trainee at EY and as a finance assistant at Academic work.

Susanna also has prior work experience as Head of Communications and Marketing in the start-up sector, education industry and has also worked with non-profit initiatives for government and political fields to create platforms for priority areas in Swedish welfare.

Stefan Wittek is Senior Adviser at MCF Corporate Finance. He has been with the company for 14 years, thereof 4 years as a Partner, leading the Energy & Renewable business activities. His focus lies on transactions related to the energy sector. Prior to joining MCF in July 2000, Stefan was Head of M&A at VASA Energy, a subsidiary of Vattenfall. He also spent several years in Budapest with an EBRD financed “Early stage equity fund” and started his career at German State Privatisation Holding (“Treuhandanstalt”) in Magdeburg.
Personal note: I love to play soccer with my kids.
Susanna James holds a Bachelor of Media from Macquarie University as well as a Diploma in Marketing from the APM College in Sydney Australia. Before Susanna joined our Stockholm office in 2017 she gained work experience in advertising sales for media networks in Sydney and administrative assistant roles in Stockholm.
Personal note: I love travelling and reading and spending quality time with family and friends.
Stefan Mattern holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from the University of Hamburg. Prior to joining us in January 2007, Stefan spent five years with Deutsche Bank, where he worked for the Private Banking Division and was Executive Assistant to the Board of Deutsche Bank SpA in Italy. Previously, Stefan was active in the M&A Advisory Team of Berenberg Bank.
Personal note: I’m a keen hockey player, snowboarder, golfer and enjoy DJing.
Stefan Edlich studied European Finance and Accounting in Bremen and Leeds, prior to working in the Investment Banking Division of DZ BANK for four years. Subsequently, he was responsible for the M&A activities and capital market communication of a listed company. Before he joined our Hamburg office in 2008, Stefan was in PwC’s Transaction Services division for three years. Stefan is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He became a Partner in 2012.

Nils Petter Palmefors holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Lund University. Prior to joining us in 2016 Nils Petter was Director at Keystone Advisers in Stockholm.

Andreas Heder holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Andreas joined us in January 2017 and brings more than 20 years’ international experience from telecom business, corporate development and M&A. He was during 6 years Head of M&A at Ericsson, Segment Networks.

Per Hornung Pedersen is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance and a member of the Boards of e3light A/S, Nenuphar SA and SeaTower AS. He was previously CEO of Pelamis Wave Power and REpower Systems AG / Suzlon Energy A/S after being CFO of NEG Micon and others.
Tor-Oskar holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Hanken School of Economics where he studied Finance and Accounting, and a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Mannheim. During his studies in Mannheim he also undertook an exchange semester at the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta. Prior to joining us in 2016 Tor-Oskar gained work experience at Danske Bank.
Personal note: I’m an enthusiastic traveller who enjoys outdoor life. I also like reading biographies and learning foreign languages.
Pyry-Pekka Kinos studied Finance and Economics at Aalto University School of Business and Mannheim Business School. Prior to joining our Helsinki office in 2016, Pyry gained work experience at Alexander Group Oy and DealDash.

Sam Evans studied English Literature and Language at Oxford University. He has previous work experience in Investment Management at Baillie Gifford and spent a year prior to university working at IBM. Sam joined our London office in December 2014.

Dr Stig Gustavson is the Vice Chairman of the Konecranes Board. He has been Board Member since 1994 and Member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee since 2006. Furthermore, he is Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Cramo Oyj, Handelsbanken Finland, Ahlström Capital and numerous others.
Niklas holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the Hanken School of Economics. He is originally from Hamburg, where he graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Prior to joining our Helsinki office in 2015, Niklas gained work experience as a Financial Controller at the international retail group Otto GmbH & Co KG.
Personal note: I enjoy travelling, cooking and I have a passion for boat and water sports.
Dr Hasso Kaempfe is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hero Group, Switzerland and has numerous supervisory/advisory board mandates. He was previously CEO of Mast-Jägermeister AG and was also a member of the Board of Tchibo-Frisch-Röst Kaffee GmbH.
Mika Galkin holds a Master’s degree from the Helsinki School of Economics. He joined our Helsinki office in 2004 and was based in the London office in 2006-2008. He became a Partner in 2017. Mika has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of Finnish SMEs.
Personal note: I enjoy sailing, skiing and travelling with my wife and two children.
Kalle Reponen is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance and an active board member on numerous corporate organisations. He previously held positions as SVP and member of the executive board of the Metso Corporation, Partner at MCF Corporate Finance, Director at Nordea Corporate Finance and VP of the Metra (Wärtsilä) Corporation. Kalle holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics & Business Administration and is an alumnus of IMD’s executive development program.
Cornelius Geber is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance and a leading logistics expert. With more than twenty years of logistics experience he held various top management positions. He was Chairman of the Executive Board of the Kuehne & Nagel Deutschland Group and a member of the company management at Kuehne & Nagel International AG, Switzerland. He held several supervisory board positions of global companies e.g. Grohe, Celanese (formerly listed on M-Dax) as well as Neopost and currently is the Chairman of the supervisory board of Hamburger Getreide-Lagerhaus AG. In his role as an industry adviser, amongst others for the board of directors of Deutsche Post, he also has a proven track record in PE-backed M&A transactions. Moreover Cornelius Geber is an active investor.

Philipp Landow holds an M.Sc. in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Prior to that, Philipp studied International Business with a specialisation in Finance at Maastricht University and the National University of Singapore. Before Philipp joined MCF in Hamburg in 2015, he gained work experience in different banking roles with Société Générale Group.

Nicolas Witt holds an M.Sc. in Finance & Management from the Cranfield School of Management. Prior to that, he studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Before Nicolas joined MCF in 2016, Nicolas worked as an Analyst at the Frankfurt-based M&A boutique Doertenbach & Co. He started his career at the Unicredit Investment Banking Graduate Program with positions in Hamburg, Munich and Vienna.

Dr Hanns Ostmeier is a Private Equity Investor. Previously he was President of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group, Senior Partner at BC Partners and Executive Chairman of Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH.
Jussi Vuorinen graduated from the Helsinki School of Economics in 2000 majoring in Finance. He was also an exchange student at the London School of Economics. During and after his studies, Jussi spent four years at Nordea Corporate Finance, based in Helsinki and London. He then worked at the local management consulting company August Associates in Helsinki, before joining us in 2005. Jussi became a Partner in 2012.

Victor Sylwander holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics. Previous to joining us in 2016, Victor was Analyst at Keystone Advisers in Stockholm. Until 2014 Victor played tennis at a professional level and ranked top 650 in the world as a junior.

Gustav Glans holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology. Previous to joining us in 2016, Gustav was Analyst at Keystone Advisers. During his high school years Gustav played Hockey at the highest junior level in the Nordics.

Kalle Uljas studied at the Helsinki School of Economics and has a Master’s degree in Finance. He started his career with Process Vision, a Finnish software company providing solutions for the deregulated energy markets. He then moved to Handelsbanken Markets, where he was responsible for equity research on the listed Finnish capital goods companies. Kalle joined us in 2003 and became a Partner in 2011.
Personal Note: I’m a keen sportsman and ever-improving guitarist.
Graham Oldroyd is Chairman of Ideal Standard and an experienced international private equity investor. Until June 2013 he was a Partner at private equity fund manager Bridgepoint, completing 23 years at the firm and holding a series of senior positions, including Head of the Nordic Region, Head of Manufacturing & Industrials, and Geschäftsführer for Bridgepoint GmbH. Graham has extensive cross-border M&A experience from Europe, the USA and China, and has served on Boards in the UK, all Nordic Countries, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, covering a wide variety of sectors spanning the automotive industry, consumer products, engineering consulting, healthcare, IT, manufacturing and industrials, and support services. Appointed a Church of England Commissioner with effect from 1 April 2014, in this role he is also a member of the Assets Committee responsible for investment of the c. £5 billion Church Commissioners’ Fund. He is a visiting lecturer at INSEAD and Durham University Business Schools. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Graham has an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Engineering from Cambridge University.
Jonus Bartholdson holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. Prior to joining us in 2016 Jonus co-founded Keystone Advisers in 2000. Jonus has additional previous experience from the Management Team at Pulsen AB, a Swedish IT services company, and as an active investor in several companies on the Swedish market.

Carl-Diedric Hamilton is Chairman of Keystone MCF Corporate Finance AB and was a founding partner and CEO of Enskilda, later ran Alfred Berg and ABN Amro’s Global Equity business. He was partner and CEO of Lancelot Asset Management AB and lately Senior Adviser to Erik Penser Bank, member of the Advisory Board Of Vistra Group and Chair of its Audit and Compliance Committee.
Hans Hermann Münchmeyer is the co-founder and Senior Adviser of MCF Corporate Finance. He worked abroad for several years in various international banks and then spent more than 15 years as a Managing Partner of the private bank Schröder, Münchmeyer, Hengst & Co. After holding several chief executive positions, he founded Münchmeyer Advisory Services in 1987, which has evolved to become MCF Corporate Finance.
Personal note: I am a family man and extremely interested in ecology.
Anders Boajé holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Investment Appraisal from Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. Prior to joining us in 2016, Anders co-founded Keystone Advisers in 2000. Anders has additional previous Strategy Consulting experience from Bain & Co. in Stockholm and London.

Since the end of 2014, Christian Pfirrmann is Senior Advisor at MCF Corporate Finance. He is the founder and CEO of Palatinum Capital GmbH and was previously Partner at Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. Earlier, he worked in the M&A department of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and at Deutz AG and Siemens AG. His deal focus is on transactions in the automotive, capital goods, industrial services and synthetic materials industry. Christian Pfirrmann holds an MBA from Yale School of Management.
Ragna Schilske finished her apprenticeship in an insurance company and studied English and German at the University of Hamburg. She joined our Hamburg office in 2001, working in general administration as a team assistant and as personal assistant to Dr Christoph Stoecker.

Sari Turunen holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Turku School of Economics and a Master of Laws from Turku University. Prior to joining MCF’s office in Hamburg in 2016 Sari worked as Business Controller at Fortum, Finance Director at Wipak Walsrode and with EY audit in Hamburg.
Personal note: In my free time my children keep me on the run! Besides, I love to go to the gym and I’m interested in interior design.
Carolin Drewes holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from the Durham University Business School. Prior to that, Carolin studied at the Hamburg School of Business Administration and the University of California, Berkeley. She gained work experience in the investment banking division of Macquarie and worked for KPMG as well as Hapag-Lloyd. Carolin joined our Hamburg office in February 2015.

William graduated from University College London with a BA in Politics. Prior to joining MCF he was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he worked for five years. At Deloitte he qualified as an accountant and focused on Corporate Finance with work in the Business Modelling and Transactions Services teams. Prior to Deloitte, William worked as an analyst for the energy advisory firm CEAG.

Tweedie Brown is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance and is active on numerous boards and charities.
He is, amongst others, Joint Chairman of Caridon Property Services (a social housing developer), Chairman of Horseradish Media (an image licensing business), Board Member and Joint Founder of Cryostim (a medical instrument manufacturer) and Chairman of Artemis Partners (an outplacement service for ex-members of HM Forces).
Before leaving the Army in 2004 as a Brigadier, he held positions as CEO of Defence Postal and Courier Services and Commander of the Defence Logistics Training Group. He was awarded the OBE in 1993 and the CBE in 2003.
Tobias Wikström holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. Prior to joining us in 2016, Tobias co-founded Keystone Advisers in 2000. Tobias has additional previous Investment Banking experience from Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt.
Tobias is currently running the small investment company Attwik Invest.

Professor Dr Klaus Rauscher is a member of the Supervisory Board of Draegerwerk AG and numerous others. Previously he was CEO of Vattenfall Europe AG and was a Management Board member of Bayerische Landesbank. He was also the Director General of the Bavarian State Chancellery.
Professor Dr Gerhard Wegen is a Senior Partner at the law firm Gleiss Lutz, in Stuttgart. He is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Tübingen and chairman of international arbitration tribunals.
Clare Muir studied Biochemistry at Lady Margret Hall, Oxford University, before joining Shell International to complete her Management Accountancy qualification (CIMA, now GCMA). After several years, Clare moved to Japan for 4 years, where she learnt Japanese for a year before joining the Jardine Group. On her return to London, Clare worked for Shell Gas and then in private practice before joining our London office in 2010.

Ludvig Ahlinder holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology. Previous to joining us in 2016, Ludvig was Associate at Keystone Advisers. Ludvig also has prior work experience from risk reporting at UBS and Asset Management at Danske Capital.

Andreas Stenbäck holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Stockholm University. Before merging Keystone Advisers with MCF in 2016, Andreas was the Managing Partner of the firm. Andreas has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of Swedish mid-sized companies in various industries.

Ian Henderson holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He spent 5 years in Arthur Andersen’s corporate tax advisory team, where he qualified as an ACA, followed by 6 years at Nordea Securities (previously Maizels, Westerberg), where he was a director and head of the private equity sector team. In 2003, Ian founded our UK subsidiary and has subsequently been a Partner and in charge of our London office.

Ville Kivelä holds a Master’s degree from the Helsinki School of Economics. He was a co-founder of our Helsinki office in 2003 and has been a Partner since 2006. Ville was also the Head of the Helsinki office between 2006-2018. Prior to joining us, Ville worked for Nordea Securities (previously Merita Securities) as a head of research.
Personal note: I enjoy outdoor life and spending time at our summer house, especially with my wife and four children. I also like good literature.
Christoph Stoecker studied Law at the universities of Cologne, Lausanne, Hamburg (Dr.iur) and Sydney (LL.M.) and was admitted to the German Bar in 1988. Prior to joining us in 1998, he was a partner at the Hamburg offices of a large German law firm having previously worked for law firms abroad. Since 2015 Christoph is also Of-Counsel at the international law firm DLA Piper. He specialises in corporate law and M&A. Christoph became a Partner and Managing Director of MCF in 2000.
Personal note: I’m a keen sportsman and value integrity, be-it at home, at work or on the gamesfield.
Hans-Christoph Stadel graduated with a MBA from the European School of Management Studies in Paris, Oxford and Berlin, having previously completed a two year apprenticeship at the Vereins- und Westbank, Hamburg. He then joined Enskilda Securities in London, where he was responsible for Finnish and German M&A transactions. In 1990, he moved to Hamburg to open Enskilda’s German office before conducting an MBO in 1994, together with Hans Hermann Münchmeyer, to found Münchmeyer GmbH Corporate Finance. Hans-Christoph is a founding Partner and Managing Director of MCF. In addition, Hans-Christoph is the Honorary Consul for Finland in Hamburg.
Personal note: I enjoy endurance sports, such as running the marathon, cycling and the triathlon, as well as skiing and I am also interested in Bordeaux wine.
Michaela Schmidt completed an apprenticeship in the hotel industry and worked as a receptionist. Furthermore, she graduated from the school of foreign languages in Hamburg and worked as a state-certified foreign language correspondent. She joined our Hamburg office in 1997 as personal assistant to Hans-Christoph Stadel.
Personal note: I enjoy teaching aerobic classes in my free time and I love reading.
Teemu Saarelainen holds a Master’s degree from Aalto University School of Business, where he studied Finance and Economics. Prior to joining our Helsinki office in 2016, Teemu gained work experience at SEB, EY, Handelsbanken and Danske Bank.

Dr Michael Lonsert is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance. He is an experienced international healthcare industry executive.
Michael received a Ph.D in Health Science from the University in Hamburg and is an active board member on several corporate, financial investor and universitiy organisations.
Previously he was a member of the Executive Board of Celesio AG and executive for other international pharmaceutical companies.
Oliver Peter is Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance. He holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree from the University of Hamburg and is a CFA charterholder. Oliver has been with MCF between 1999 and 2012 advising on transactions mainly in the energy & renewables, sports & entertainment as well as mechanical engineering sectors. Prior to joining the company again in 2016, Oliver was active in the football business as finance director of HSV Fußball AG.
Personal note: I enjoy competitive sailing.
Mark Florman is a Senior Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance. He is an active board member on numerous corporate, advisory, political & regulatory and charitable organisations. Among others, Mark is the Chairman of LPEQ, the trade body for listed Private Equity companies. Moreover, he is currently Strategic Adviser and Industry Ambassador to the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) and has previously held positions as the CEO of the BVCA, Managing Director at Doughty Hanson, Chairman of LM Glasfiber and was a founding Partner of Maizels Westerberg & Co.
