MCF advised Euroports Group on the acquisition of a substantial part of BB Logistics

Euroports Group is a leading port-centric platform and one of the largest port infrastructure operators with a wide footprint of more than 50 terminals and logistic platforms strategically located on key global trade routes in Europe and China. In the transaction the Finnish subsidiary of Euroports Group, Euroports Finland Ltd, acquired a substantial part of BB Logistics Ltd.

BB Logistics is a fast-growing, reliable logistics service provider operating in five ports in Finland – Kemi, Oulu, Kristiinankaupunki, Kaskinen, and Hamina. This acquisition will complement Euroports Group’s position both from a geographic as well as a commodity perspective in the Baltic Sea area.

In this transaction, MCF provided financial advisory services and facilitated the transaction by its proven ability to structure and execute transactions in the logistics sector.

The Deal

Euroports Finland Ltd, part of Euroports Group, is Finland’s leading full-service port operator with terminals in Rauma, Hanko, and Pietarsaari

Euroports Group sees that this acquisition will complement their position both from a geographic as well as a commodity perspective in the Baltic Sea area. For Euroports Finland Ltd, this transaction enables them to serve their existing and new customers with a wider range of services everywhere in Finland.

Through the partnership, BB Logistics will be even stronger in continuing to support their customers to be successful worldwide. BB Logistics has 40 employees, who will continue to work for the company. The name of the company and the current management team will remain unchanged.
