About Lumiere Education
Lumiere Education is a rapidly growing US-based education company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2020, Lumiere operates the “Lumiere Research Scholar Program”, which connects high-school students worldwide with PhD-level mentors from top universities to design and conduct independent research projects.
The company has mentored thousands of students and, through its non-profit arm, the Lumiere Research Inclusion Foundation, provides scholarships to under-resourced students to broaden access to academic research opportunities.
The transaction enables the founder and current owner of Immerse Education to step away from the business and focus on other education initiatives, while allowing Lumiere to expand its global footprint and integrate Immerse’s established residential and online programme infrastructure into its mentorship-driven model.
