MCF advises Berner on the acquisition of Dolema
Berner Ltd (“Berner”), through its subsidiary Bröderna Berner AB (“Bröderna Berner”), has acquired Dolema AB (“Dolema”), a Swedish privately-owned distributor of medical devices. Through this transaction, Berner will strengthen its market position in the Nordic medical market. MCF acted as adviser to Berner throughout the process and helped facilitate the transaction through its proven ability to execute cross-border transactions.

The Deal
Berner Medical, a division of Bröderna Berner, specialising in the healthcare and professional cleaning business and has been operating on the Swedish market for decades. Its customers include regions and private health care companies.
In line with Berner’s strategic focus, the acquisition of Dolema will expand the company’s customer offering and strengthens its position as an attractive distributor for leading international principals within the laboratory and health care sector.
The Target
Dolema, established in 2001, is a supplier of respiratory, urological and ostomy products as well as other medical consumables. Products are targeted to hospitals and home health care. The company is headquartered in Sweden, with additional operations in Norway.
