MCF advises Gofore on the acquisition of eMundo from their founders

Gofore Plc (“Gofore”), a leading Finnish digital transformation consultancy listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki, has acquired eMundo GmbH (“eMundo”), a German digitalisation and software development specialist. In this transaction, MCF advised Gofore from the identification and approach of eMundo through the entire transaction process to the successful closing of the acquisition.

The Deal

Gofore was founded in Finland in 2001 and has developed into one of the leading players for digital transformation in Europe. The acquisition of eMundo is Gofore’s first transaction in Germany and strengthens its positioning in the attractive DACH market. Together, eMundo and Gofore Germany will leverage their capabilities and reach to drive growth with existing and new customers based on their shared values.

The Target

Founded in Munich in 2000, eMundo is a digitalisation and custom software development specialist that employs 93 professionals in seven offices in Germany, Austria, and Italy. eMundo designs and implements digitalisation projects and develops customised software for strategic areas such as cyber security, service processes, public transport and the automotive sector.
