MCF advises IK Partners on the acquisition of MÜPRO from Perusa
IK Partners, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire MÜPRO Group GmbH (“MÜPRO” or “the Company”), a leading solutions provider and supplier for applications in pipe fixing technology.
Through the partnership with IK, MÜPRO aims to grow its footprint in existing markets, continue its journey of digitisation, expand into adjacent geographies and drive market consolidation. The team will continue to be led by the CEO, Dr Wolfgang Gödel, and his team.
In this industrial’s transaction, MCF advised IK Partners and helped facilitate the deal through its expertise in the building technology segment, with senior adviser involvement and market intelligence surrounding the process.
The Deal
IK is acquiring a majority stake from Perusa GmbH (“Perusa”) alongside management who will be reinvesting.
Completion of the transaction is subject to legal and regulatory approvals.
The Target
Founded in 1964, MÜPRO is a German-based speciality manufacturer and distributor of pipe fixing technology for technical building equipment, sanitary, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning applications (“SHVAC”). With over 50 years of experience in this sector, the company belongs to the leading vendors in installation technology.
