MCF advises Nalka on the sale of Eson Pac to Mayr-Melnhof
Nalka Invest (Nalka) has sold Eson Pac International AB (Eson Pac), a market-leading pure-play pharma packaging provider in the Nordics, to Austrian Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG (MM). Together with Eson Pac, MM can now offer more innovative and sustainable solutions to their customers and shape an attractive growth path together.
MCF advised Nalka in the successful execution of the transaction, bringing together our experience and wide network within the packaging industry to facilitate an optimal outcome for all parties involved. Furthermore, the transaction adds to MCF’s record in helping well-established Private Equity-firms conduct successful auction processes.
The Deal
MM is Europe’s leading producer of cardboard and folding boxes. By acquiring Eson Pac, MM will strengthen its position within the Premium business of the packaging division. The integration of Eson Pac’s operations offers attractive growth potential and an ideal complement to the current customer base.
