MCF supports the shareholders of HASEC in the sale to Scanfil

HASEC-Elektronik GmbH (“HASEC”), a German provider of Electronics Engineering & Manufacturing Services, was sold to Scanfil Oyj (“Scanfil”), a listed Finnish contract manufacturer and system supplier for the electronics industry. In this transaction, MCF acted as financial adviser to the shareholders of HASEC and once again confirmed its ability to successfully execute cross-border deals between the Nordics and Central Europe.

"MCF has been a great partner to us, giving valuable and very professional support throughout the entire process, and ultimately helping us find the right new home for our business.”

Marco Zimmermann

Managing Director at HASEC

The Deal

MCF advised the shareholders of HASEC in the sale of the company to Scanfil. The transaction offers great operating synergies going-forward and provides an environment, in which HASEC’s extensive track-record of profitable growth can be continued and accelerated. HASEC’s well established client relationships, as well as its sterling industry reputation, will strengthen Scanfil’s market presence in Germany and Western Europe even further.

The acquisition is subject to approval by antitrust authorities and closing is expected in June.

Its customers are well-known market players with electronic products from various sectors, such as computing, communications, industrial, automotive, and medical.
