Ville Sihto joins MCF’s Helsinki team as Partner

MCF is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with the addition of Ville Sihto to the team. He will be based at the Helsinki office.

Ville Sihto has twenty years of experience from working in mergers & acquisitions. He started in the investment banking business in 1998 at Aros Securities, which became part of Nordea in 2000. Ville then spent 16 years at Nordea Corporate & Investment Banking, the last eight years as a director, serving both corporate and private equity clients across the Nordic countries.

Prior to joining MCF, he worked as an entrepreneur focusing on M&A advisory to large Consumer Goods companies. He has a proven track record of originating and executing complex M&A and ECM transactions with blue-chip clients in various industries, particularly in the Consumer Goods, Media and Business Services segments.

“We are extremely pleased to have Ville joining our firm as his expertise and contact network are highly complementary to our existing set-up. We see significant potential for growth in the Consumer sector, both in domestic and cross-border transactions and it will be among our key sectors in the future. Furthermore, Consumer is also one of the focus sectors of our partner firm D.A. Davidson in the US, and we are looking forward to tap new transatlantic opportunities with our Nordic and European clients. This is an exciting step for MCF and marks another milestone in our expansion”, says Jussi Vuorinen, Partner and Head of MCF Helsinki.

MCF’s Helsinki team now consists of 14 dedicated M&A professionals and 30 professionals for our Nordic team in total. We continuously strive to attract and retain the best leadership and, together with the expertise and experience of our colleagues in Hamburg, London and Stockholm, we are uniquely positioned to offer comprehensive and cross-border M&A advisory services to our clients.
