Ian Henderson founded the MCF London office in 2003 and brings over 30 years of experience in international M&A. He has advised clients across the utilities and manufacturing industries, with a strong focus on private equity-related transactions.
Prior to founding MCF’s London office, Ian worked in Arthur Andersen’s corporate tax advisory team, where he qualified as an ACA. He went on to hold several senior positions in investment banking, including serving as Director and Head of the Private Equity sector team at Nordea Securities and previously was at Maizels Westerberg & Co.
Over the course of his career, Ian has led a wide range of notable transactions across numerous verticals, including the sale of BSW to Binderholz, the sale of Scott Group to BSW, the acquisition of The Tofoo Co by Comitis, UPM’s acquisition of Metamark, and the sale of C.P. Hart to Wolseley.
Ian holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
