Sir Kevin Leeson
Sir Kevin Leeson is an Industry Adviser to MCF Corporate Finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an honorary Doctorate of Engineering from the University of Manchester and studied International Affairs at the Royal College of Defence Studies in London. Sir Kevin served in the Royal Air Force for over 30 years. He achieved the rank of air marshal and was Chief of Materiel (Air) in Defence Equipment and Support in the UK Ministry of Defence, Chief Engineer of the RAF and was a member of the Royal Air Force Board. Sir Kevin was also Chair of several international defence procurement committees. After leaving the Royal Air Force, he served as a member of the British Airways Board Safety Review Committee. Currently, Sir Kevin is Director of Military Affairs at Airbus UK and senior advisor for Airtanker Ltd and Newton Europe. He chaired the Board of Trustees of the RAF Charitable Trust for 7 years and is a membership committee member of his City of London Livery Company, the Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers. Sir Kevin was appointed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2003 (CBE) and became a Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath in the New Year’s Honours List 2012 (KCB).
