The Deal
Ragn-Sells is a privately held corporate group with operations in Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Denmark. MCF has previously acted as financial adviser to Ragn-Sells during the divestment of its Latvian operations earlier in 2018.
The divestment of RSM&CO is in line with Ragn-Sells’ corporate strategy to refocus along the broader trend towards sustainable circular economies that preserve scarce raw materials and natural resources. Going forward, the RSM&CO employees will be incorporated into Ramboll’s Environment & Health business area in Sweden, creating a strong future platform for development and growth in the global sustainability consultancy market.
The Target
RSM&CO was formed in 2016 through the merger of the two, family owned consultancy firms Ragn-Sells Miljökonsult AB and Askengren & Co AB. The company is one of the leading specialists within sustainable business, process development and educational services in Sweden.
