MCF advises Pulsen Group on the divestment of Pulsen Retail to Total Specific Solutions
Pulsen AB (“Pulsen Group”), a leading Swedish IT company, has sold its retail ERP software specialist Pulsen Retail AB (“Pulsen Retail”), to Total Specific Solutions B.V. (“TSS”). MCF acted as adviser to Pulsen Group, concentrating on securing a long-term partner for the Pulsen Retail business. The transaction marks MCF’s second engagement with Pulsen Group in 2020.
The Deal
Pulsen Retail’s SaaS solution, Harmoney, is a fully integrated ERP system for bricks and mortar and e-commerce retailers. Under TSS’ ownership, Pulsen Retail will continue to further develop its Smarter Retail Automation services, encompassing AI, POS and B2B. Pulsen Retail will also benefit from TSS’ extensive experience in the retail sector, in particular through its ownership of the Swedish company FDT.
The Target
For over 15 years, Pulsen Retail has offered fully integrated ERP systems and consulting services to support customers in the retail sector, built around its powerful ERP solution, Harmoney. Pulsen Retail works with several of the largest retailers in the Nordics and manages orders from over 20 countries across Europe, Asia and the US.
