MCF advises Pulsen Production on the acquisition of Shibuya Crossing

Pulsen Production AB (“Pulsen”), a leading Swedish IT operations company, has acquired the data centre expert Shibuya Crossing AB (“Shibuya Crossing”). Through this acquisition the new company Shibuya, part of Pulsen is formed, a new market leader for business-critical IT solutions in Sweden. MCF advised Pulsen and helped facilitate the transaction through its proven ability to successfully originate and execute bilateral transactions.

The Deal

Pulsen delivers IT maintenance, operations and solutions for business-critical systems, based on IBM Power and Intel/Windows platforms. Through this transaction, Pulsen and Shibuya together form a leading player for business-critical IT solutions in Sweden. Following the acquisition, the pro forma net sales of the joint company in 2020 are estimated to approximately SEK 300m.

Shibuya Crossing has been active in the IT operations industry since 1999 and the company was formed through the merger of TSS AB and Enjoy IT in 2013. Shibuya Crossing delivers IT services to leading Swedish companies and organisations in various industries, ensuring a cost-effective, accessible, scalable and reliable IT infrastructure. The company’s offering includes both customer-unique and standardised solutions.
