MCF supports the shareholders of URANO Informationssysteme GmbH on the sale of their shares to DATAGROUP SE in the context of its next growth phase

The shareholders of URANO Informationssysteme GmbH (“URANO”), a leading provider of integrated B2B IT services in the Rhine-Main-Neckar triangle, have disposed a 70% stake to DATAGROUP SE (“DATAGROUP”). DATAGROUP has the option to acquire the remaining shares after two years. MCF supported URANO’s shareholders and management team to facilitate the transaction in a swift and focused manner for the benefit of all stakeholders involved.

The Deal

DATAGROUP acquired 70% of the shares with an option to acquire the remaining shares after two years. The transaction enables URANO to further facilitate its growth strategy by adding complementary IT services such as SAP solutions to the current portfolio. DATAGROUP will benefit from the unique market positioning of URANO in the Rhine-Main-Neckar triangle. To allow for a smooth transition and integration phase it is planned that URANO will continue to operate under its current management team.

The acquisition is subject to certain closing conditions.
