MCF acted as M&A and Debt Adviser to TeamVet on the acquisition of Tierklinik Lüsche and Equine Supplement Services from a group of private individuals
TeamVet Beteiligungs GmbH (“TeamVet”), a leading German independent association of selected veterinary clinics and practices, has acquired Tierklinik Lüsche GmbH (“Tierklinik Lüsche”), one of Germany’s largest equine clinics, and a minority stake in ESS – Equine Supplement Service GmbH (“ESS”) from a group of private individuals.
Through this acquisition TeamVet is increasing its veterinarian expertise by welcoming 120 additional highly experienced team members, expanding its geographic coverage in Germany and complementing its offering with equine supplements. In this transaction, MCF advised TeamVet on the raise of equity and debt to finance the acquisition, handled all M&A buy-side work streams and supported on all negotiations of terms and conditions.
Closing of this transaction is subject to a binding confirmation of the local tax authorities that has been requested from the sell-side.

TeamVet has currently 23 locations comprising c. 600 employees and over 200 veterinarians.
With the inclusion of Tierklinik Lüsche and ESS, TeamVet is expanding its geographic coverage in Germany and complementing its offering with equine supplements.
The Target
Tierklinik Lüsche was established in 2000 and is the largest German pure play equine clinic that employs c. 120 professionals, thereof over 20 veterinarians, specializing in equine treatment at their premises in Bakum, Lower Saxony.
Tierklinik Lüsche offers an extensive range of veterinary services, encompassing medical care, surgery, diagnostics, dentistry, emergency care, specialized treatments, and rehabilitation. Their devoted team and state-of-the-art facility make the well-being of horses their top priority, solidifying their reputation as a trusted partner in veterinary care.
