MCF advises on the disposal of Hansa Treuhand Finance
MCF successfully conducted the disposal of Hansa Treuhand Finance GmbH & Co. KG from the private shareholder of Hansa Treuhand Group to a private investor. By approaching all potential investors and managing all Q&A and data exchange between the involved parties, MCF supported the insolvency administrator hww hermann wienberg in finding a new owner for the company. This transaction was MCF’s sixth for hww and demonstrates MCF’s ability to support its clients not only in plain vanilla situations but also in opening up new perspectives for troubled assets.

The Target
Hansa Treuhand Finance is a German fund initiator currently managing six funds. Four of them are the aircraft funds Sky Cloud-A380 I – IV, each of them invested in an Airbus A380 plane leased by Emirates. The remaining two are Private Equity Partners 1+2 and comprise fund of funds investments in a variety of private equity funds. Since 2016 the company has discontinued the issuing business and solely focused on the management of the existing funds.
